I have clients who want me to come in and do what I do.

They don't want to think about it too much, they want to be able to rely on my judgment at what needs attended to each week.

I have other clients who don't want me to bother with the kitchen, but have the bathrooms as a priority.

Lay of the Land

What I do:

• Lay of the Land
  
I grab a trash bag and empty all the trash receptacles while I observe what shape the house is in. Will I have to pick up toys, is the kitchen in need of extra attention, where the bathrooms used heavily during the week.
• Tri-Cycle
  I organize my cleaning chores on a Tri-cycle.

The TRI-CYCLE Method

I organize my cleaning chores on a Tri-cycle. (No, not literally.)

I divide your house up into three areas.

1. Kitchen
2. Bathrooms
3. Living room/Bedrooms.

My method of attack is to rotate those three areas, so that each one gets special attention sometime during the month. I am flexible, so when I do my lay of the land, I make a decision as to whether I should prioritize a different area.

Kitchen - there are always extras to do in the kitchen. I am more than happy to clean out your frig, wash down and oil cabinets and dust the top of your cabinets were you might keep decorative plates.

Bathroom - Inside the medicine cabinet, clean out area under the sink, and pay critical attention to shower/tub area.

Living Room and Bedrooms -Vacuum or sweep, floor and decorative moldings, oil wood furniture, dust and spot wash fingerprints of walls and doors.
